Congratulations to our September Cubs of the Month!  These students are safe, responsible, and respectful and have done an excellent job demonstrating our character word of the month, initiative, which means seeing what needs to be done and doing it.
Winter Book Fair

Winter Scholastic Book Fair
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have had to reschedule our Scholastic Book Fair.  Our book fair is now scheduled for Monday, December 3rd through Monday, December 10th.  More information about specific days and times will be sent home closer to the start of the fair.  This will be a great time to get some holiday shopping done! 

Health Fair
Keowee Health Fair
Keowee Elementary School is inviting you to join us for our Health & Wellness Fair on Tuesday, October 9th from 6:00-7:00 pm immediately following the PTA meeting, which begins at 5:30.  Over 15 local businesses and organizations will provide information and activities about healthy lifestyle habits.  Plus...Make a kindness rock and taste healthy snacks!  Parents and students can register to win a door prize!  Students attending will also receive a homework pass!

Thursday, October 25 “Fantasy Forest” IMAGINE a World with No Drugs & No Bullies—Dress as a Fairytale Character, an Elf, a Fairy, a Gnome, a Forest Animal, etc. 
Friday, October 26 “Teaming Up Against Drugs & Bullies” Wear Favorite Team Shirt or Colors 

Read Your Way to the Big Game!
We have begun the Read Your Way to the BIG GAME reading contest. All you have to do is read 6 books and log them on the reading log that was sent home.  Once you have filled out the form, return it to your teacher. That's it! Read 6 books, turn in your log, and be entered into the drawing to win 4 free tickets to the Palmetto Bowl where USC and Clemson play each other!
