Buddy Bench Project

First grade students and teachers recently completed a "Buddy Bench".  The hope is that this bench will encourage students to be a buddy to everyone and inspires others to ALWAYS CHOOSE KINDNESS!

Keowee Fifth Graders Excel at Regional Science Fair
Regional Science Fair Winners
The South Carolina Region 1 Science Fair was hosted by Southern Wesleyan University for Anderson, Abbeville, Laurens, Greenville, Greenwood, Oconee, and Pickens Counties.  Keowee Elementary sent the top 10 projects from the school fair that was held on January 19th to compete.  They did an excellent job!  Elementary Biochemistry: 2nd place Chloe Smith, Elementary Chemistry:  2nd place Adelie Gillespie and 3rd place Ashlyn Denny, Elementary Engineering:  1st place Sophia Pontin and 2nd place Celia Gully, Elementary Health & Microbiology:  3rd place Emma Van Wormer, Elementary Plant and Animal Science 1st place Chelsea Burkhart.

School Choice

Congratulations to Team Keowee for earning the third place trophy in the district Battle of the Books competition!  These students worked hard reading 10 books this year and answering very detailed questions about each book.  They competed against
